With headquarters in Grand Rapids, Gays In Faith Together ( GIFT) serves people throughout West Michigan with programs such as:
- TNT, a group for youth in their Teens 'N' Twenties
- Life enrichment seminars for all ages
- Individual dialogue with our chaplain
- Education in the community
- Resources and referrals

Films and Food Series

This spring GIFT is pleased to present
a series of new and favorite films that deal
eloquently and truthfully with the issues of
faith, sexuality, and identity. These films
are free, open to everyone, and will involve
good food.
This week Friday, May 9: The Congregation: This film documents a United Methodist church's struggle with the issue of having a gay minister and with re-evaluating its ministry and mission in changing times. We'll serve dinner again at 6:00pm for $3, the movie will start at 7:00pm. Please RSVP for dinner.
Tuesday, May 20: I Exist: This pioneering film documents the lives of lesbian and gay Middle Easterners in the United States. The movie starts at 7:00pm; please bring snacks, desserts, or drinks to share.
Each event will be held at First Place, across the street from First United Methodist Church, at 207 E. Fulton St. Please enter the building by the ramp facing Barclay.

Tuesday, May 20: TNT Meeting

 GIFT TNT (Teens 'N' Twenties) will have its next meeting on Tuesday, May 20, at 7:00 p.m.
Are you gay or lesbian and in your teens or twenties? Then you are most welcome to join us for the meeting.
The group will meet at the youth center (called The Vine) of First United Methodist Church at 207 East Fulton in downtown Grand Rapids. Enter through the northwest corner door.

GIFT GRANT APPROVED!

 GIFT is pleased to announce that the Arcus Gay and Lesbian Fund approved a generous grant for the year 2008 to help grow our organization.
GIFT will soon begin a strategic planning process. We will use the survey being distributed by our social work intern, Sarah Poulisse, and we hope to ascertain the growing needs of our community, broaden our programs, and create new ones.
We are immensely grateful to the Arcus Gay and Lesbian Fund for their support and encouragement of our growth as an organization. We are equally thankful for you who participate in our programs, support our mission, and donate to sustain us. May we move forward together!
